Our Story
Who We Are
At Photon Farms, our mission is to illuminate the future of sustainable horticulture and mycology through research, innovation, and education. We integrate renewable energy, advanced cultivation practices, and artificial intelligence to create resilient systems for growing plants and fungi. By combining hands-on farming with media creation, we empower growers, researchers, and hobbyists to adopt regenerative methods that enrich both the earth and their communities.
Project Proposal
Photon Farms is a regenerative mushroom and greenhouse cultivation business focused on creating high-value crops and educational content about sustainable growing systems. We are seeking a land match to lease approximately 1–2 acres in southern BC to establish a solar-powered mushroom farm and AI-controlled greenhouse, integrated with media production infrastructure.
Project Vision:
Our goal is to demonstrate how advanced climate automation, renewable energy, and closed-loop organic systems can support profitable small-scale farming. Through digital storytelling, how-to video content, and e-commerce, we aim to support growers while generating diverse revenue streams.
Key Infrastructure to be Installed:

20' x 30' steel mushroom facility with incubation, fruiting, and lab space

30' x 40' greenhouse for vegetable and medicinal plant production

8' x 20' converted shipping container for office, shipping, and media hub

Solar array + battery storage + thermal sand battery

The operation is quiet, clean, and designed for year-round, small-scale production. We welcome landowners who share our values of sustainability, education, and community contribution.
